How We Give Back
There is a common misconception around the coffee production in Colombia. Many people think that corporations own large lots of land throughout the country and are responsible for the production and growing of coffee beans in the country.
This could not be further from the truth.
Most of Colombia's coffee is produced from small family-owned farms across the country and is sold to Colombia's National Federation of Coffee Growers. This non-profit has done a lot to grow and protect coffee production in the country; however, farmers often do not get a fair price on their coffee produced.
We are proud to source directly from farmers across Colombia and pay up to 40% more for beans than what they would get at the Federation.
Furthermore, we have committed to returning 10% of our profits back to the farmers we source from, in order to help support their coffee production business.
Each and every bag of coffee you buy from us helps make a difference to these farmers.
